N. P. Upadhyaya , Kathmandu: In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh a typical case of Islamophobia and police highhandedness has come to light that is sufficient to tell the civilized world that India was not a perfect and safe place for the followers of other religions except the Hindus.

A classic case runs like this:

A lawyer Deepak Bundele who sports a beard unfortunately was severely beaten by the State Police leaving this law practicing Indian national to guess as to what crime he committed while he was on his way to a local hospital for his treatment to the ailments concerning Diabetes and Hypertension that he was suffering.

The State police pounced upon Deepak Bundele when he told them that he had some knowledge of the constitutional limits of the law enforcement agencies.

The beating continued till the Police men came to know that the man they were beating was a respected Lawyer.

The whipping came to an end but yet by that time his ear had started bleeding profusely.

The story stated above of a Madhya Pradesh poor Lawyer has best been illustrated by Ajoy Ashirwad Mahaprashahta in his news-story prepared for the Wire dated May 18/2020.

The curtain is down: The Police personnel mistook him as Muslim.

And yet another horrible pinnacle: “We thought you were Muslim. We apologize”, the Police later said the lawyer who was mercilessly beaten.

This incident took place on March 23/2020. The Lawyer has filed a complaint despite the police appealed the lawyer to withdraw the objection.

And here is one more painful statement by an unknown Indian national in the Twitter claiming that the “Minorities in India have ever been persecuted and that the only difference is now the

people possess cell/mobile phones so they are documenting the horrific incidents and posting on social media”.

Yes he is speaking correct. Things have become easier in today’s world due to the technological advancements.

This by extension also reveals the bitter truth underlying India’s lopsided administrative behavior towards the Minority Muslims/Dalits under the fascist rule of PM Modi who is a Hindu terrorist, according to Lawyer Swagat Nepal.

The unidentified Indian national must not have been the follower of the privileged Hindu class associated with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party member or from the Rastriya Swayam Sevak Singh (India’s dreaded monster-RSS) but surely from a community in minority who must have been persecuted since the India came into existence as an independent nation virtually controlled by the dominant Hindus all over these seventy-plus years.

For the sake of convenience, let’s presume that the man in the aforesaid Twitter is an educated one and when he talks of continued persecution let’s then again take him for granted that this Indian individual has observed for himself the continued “horrible” persecution of his community member(s) since long and so he must have been the follower of Islam living in India as panicked Indian national.

The atrocities and misbehavior against the Indian Muslims is on the increase after Prime Minister Modi ascended the throne of the Indian Union in 2014 and that his structured policy has been to eliminate the Indian Muslims and if that is not possible then to harass and embarrass this community to the extreme so that they voluntarily prefer to become subservient to the ruling fundamentalist Hindus who are up to declare the Indian nation as a Hindu Rashtra.

The manner the Indian government controlled by the Hindu fanatic leader PM Modi possess hatred against the followers of Islam gets reflected by the following news that is surely a hair-raising and an equally horrifying one to which the US Commission for the Religious Affairs appears perhaps has not yet taken proper note of.

A BJP (Bharatiya Janta Party) leader Ms. Sonita Singh in a state of absolute frenzy says that there is “only solution of them (the Muslims) that Hindu brothers of 10….and gang rape them (the Kashmiri women) openly on the streets”.

This perhaps reveals the devilish mindset/psyche of this deranged Hindu woman who unfortunately takes herself as a believer of Hindu faith which nowhere teaches to abuse and insult men or women of other religions or for that matter the faith.

Shame on such Hindus and more so on a Hindu woman, Sonita Singh and the likes who make such horrible comments on the Muslim women and that too being herself a woman. This is simply horrible and unthinkable. Dirty creature! Attention the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation(OIC).

If and when the Muslim nations retaliate and pounce upon the Hindus men and women then what tragedies will be in store for the fanatic Hindu women like Sonita Singh and the likes of her?
Has Ms. Sonita Singh thought of this eventuality?

That would for sure bring about a chaos among the Hindu community in the world.

So it would be better to respect and honor all the religions more so the Muslims who find themselves in minority whether it be in India or Nepal or in other countries of South Asia.

The worst of it all, a retired Army officer (general) recently urged the rape of Muslim women in Kashmir on a live Televisions debate.

Needless to say the retired army man must have been a Hindu sex maniac and a man indoctrinated by the RSS-the Hindu monster.

He is yet to be arrested by the fascist Hindu government in India.

Surely, Islamophobia in India has reached its peak. Followers of Islam religion were cornered, harassed, attacked, injured, detained, arrested, and killed since the early days of this year 2020. It could be seen and noted through the international media coverage(s) which disseminate the message every single minute since the beginning of this year more so after February informing that the Indian Muslims are boycotted socially and cut-off business activities.

On top of it all, the Muslim women are humiliated, tortured, and raped and even appealed to gang rape the women who belong to India occupied Kashmir, as mentioned.

Writes Professor Zamir Ahmed Awan for the Modern diplomacy/South Asia dated May 2/2020 in his article on Islamophobia in India wherein he puts the record straight and says that the Indian Prime Minister Modi has a tracked record of having anti-Muslimism sentiments, and he was refused a US visa based on his alleged role in the Muslim Massacre in 2002 in Gujrat when he was the Chief Minister of Gujrat State.

The Professor further states that since the extremist RSS Hindu backed Government of Prime Minister Modi came into power, the Muslims were on hit-list. The Muslims continues to be.

Professor Zamir recalls and says in his article that Muslims ruled India for 800 years almost and lived in India for almost 1000 years. But now they are forced to leave their houses and take shelters in far-flung areas to save their lives.

The RSS youth armed with sticks, knives, sword, or light weapons can target any Muslim by blaming him in either way to eat beef or spreading Coronavirus. The RSS extremists backed by the government are attacking Muslims all over the country, damage their business, houses, rape women, kills youth. Police and law enforcement agencies either keep silent spectators or facilitate the extremist Hindus”.

However, when enough had been enough, the Muslim countries too have begun retaliating softly by firing those Indian nationals who have been making insulting comments on the Indian Muslims or for that matter spreading hatred against the Islam religion.

For example, A PM Modi’s disciple who is a professor in faculty of Public health and Tropical Medicine in Jazan University, Saudi Arabia has been sacked from his job for his Islamophobic social media posts and holding Muslims responsible for the spread of Corona Virus in India.

A man with a peculiar handle in Twitter (for example, Free Bangladeshi) urges the Gulf countries to expel the Hindu Indians and recruit only the Muslim Indians.

He then claims that such a step is fair given “Apartheid India” system and until Hindu goons lose their power and blind following. This will also, so believe Free Bangladesh, empower Muslim Indians with much needed jobs and wealth.

But would that be fair also for the Hindus who come from countries other than India, for example Nepal?

The Nepali Hindus are the most tolerant people one could find in the entire globe, to put the certificate straight.

But while the Hindu extremists in India have enjoyed a free run with direct and indirect support of members in the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party or direct support from the fundamentalist Hindu

Columnist Billy Perrigo as back as on April 3/2020 has a story from India wherein he quotes an Indian Professor, Amir Ali, as saying, “Islamophobia has been transposed onto the coronavirus issue”.

Amir Ali is assistant professor of political science at Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi.

In India, where the politically dominant Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has increasingly launched dog-whistle attacks on Muslims since being reelected with a massive majority in April last year, the corona virus is just “one more opportunity to cast the Muslim as the other, as dangerous,” says Ali, the professor at JNU, adds Billy Perrigo.
