Biratnagar/Kathmandu: On the eve of National Day of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held at the Kathmandu based Embassy of Pakistan, on 23 rd March 2023-today.

The Charge d’ Affaires (a.i.) Mr.Umair Ali hoisted the Pakistani National Flag.

Messages from the Pakistan President and Prime Minister were read out on the occasion.

Speaking on the national day event, Mr. Umair Ali recalled the determination and resolution of the Muslims in 1940 to create a separate home land for themselves and their future.

Mr. Ali underlined the need for reaffirming the commitment to make Pakistan the homeland that our forefathers had envisioned long time back in the 1940s.

Members of the Pakistani Community in Nepal and officials of the Embassy attended the Flag Hoisted ceremony.
