My presence immaterial to end political impasse: PM Nepal

Telegraph Nepal

"It would have made no difference whether I was in country our outside to find an impasse to the current political deadlock. While I was out of the country I presume that the leaders who were in the country were not in a deep slumber. I had talked to Prachanda Ji, Ishwar Ji and some Nepali congress leaders over telephone and also demanded that the stalemate should come to an end soon".

Upon return from a foreign trip, a highly irresponsible caretaker Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal made the remark talking to journalists, December 10, 2010.
