We are ready to declare final battle: Mohan Baidya

Telegraph Nepal

If the politics of sidelining Unified Maoists’ Party continue as it is, our party will have no other option that to declare the final battle. Now, the time has come that the Maoists’ Party take the entire responsibility as there is conspiracy to foil the peace process. The conspiracy is to force UNMIN out of Nepal without the peace process coming to its logical conclusion.

Senior vice chairman Mohan Baidya Kiran of Nepal Communist Party-Unified Maoists made these remarks August 28, 2010 at a program held in Kathmandu.

  • Another fight??? Let me ask you this question: can you can go back to the jungle after having benefited from State coffer for nuts?? Today you live in a villa and ride around the streets of Kathmandu in a swanky vehicle which otherwise is a far dream when you have to climb the hills and mountains of Nepal? Can you now negotiate that??? How about the 13,000 lives that you once initiated "a kill" and now desperate to take another 26,000??? Do you have sense and do you have some humanity?? I agree revolution does mean life being lost but what concrete have you been able to do since coming to be a human from jungle man??? What is your role in developing Nepal and working for the Nepalis? If you are a patriot why don't you denounce your greed for power and work as a true opposition esp. when the country has failed to elect a Prime Minister 5 times?? You talk big and deliver nothing....best I suggest is: make your actions speak louder than words...stop threating the poor and needy in the villages. GROW UP!!!

  • After reading this nutcases interview it is obvious - we have to get the PLA under the govt. control and integration and disbanding done immediately. Plus all arms have to be handed in by YCL. We cannot allow such madmen from holding the nation hostage with his armed thugs.
