Nepal: Resolute but hidden bids afoot in splitting nation into pieces

TQ1: Where Chrey-Bhavar National Unity party stands now? Is it in the ruling coalition or in opposition?

Niraula:  Our party at the moment is acting as opposition party. We are now in the NC-UML alliance. We are assisting both the Nepali Congress and the UML.

TQ2: But the minister from your party, Mr. Badri Prasad Neupane is serving in favor of the ruling coalition. Isn’t it that?

Niraula: He is the Commander sans military men. To put it in other words, he is just like a King without people. Let it be known to you all that the full central Committee of the party has already expelled Minister Neupane from the party. That is why whatever he is doing, is doing at his will which is full of his personal ambitions and greed.

TQ3: Minister Neupane has already declared that the General Convention that you and your party are going to convene is just a so called one? How you take his utterances?

Niraula:  One is not allowed to talk anything under the sun if he or she is a minister. Yet we don’t go after who said what. We don’t chase the crow if we are told that our ears were missing. We first touch our ears. He is a minister who has no people to support him or has followers worth the name.

I think he doesn’t deserve comments as such as what he is, has best been already disseminated by various national newspapers. People now understand about his real face and also of the character he possesses. You tell me, whether we should believe on the media dissemination or go by the ministerial airy speeches? He is a good dramatist. To recall, he had once promised to his family prior to becoming the member of the Nepal CA body. Ask his own family members, for example, his own daughter and wife as to how long he kept his promise made in front of his own family members? Let me not open his mysterious acts further.

TQ4:  What sort of the mystery is? Can you elaborate?

Niraula: We have had struggled hard for an integrated Nepal and still sticking on the same line of thought. And will continue to serve the nation even tomorrow with the same slogan. But the Minister has submitted himself for the fulfillment of his personal ambitions and preferences. He has abandoned the party ideologies and chartered policies and has kept himself engaged himself in sticking to power which is his prime agenda. He must understand as to how much struggle was needed to become the CA member. How many legal battles were fought in the process? He himself was manhandled at times. But he stabbed mother Nepal by abandoning the preservation of mother Nepal’s sovereignty ideal. He committed several treacherous acts against the party and mother Nepal. We don’t want to waste time and energy in exposing him more than this. This is perhaps enough.

TQ5: Or is it that you have become jealous of the Minister from your own party?

Niraula: His elevation to the current ministerial post is in effect the contribution of the party. Even a great conspiracy was hatched not to allow him to become the parliamentarian. Now interestingly, those who were his conspirators have become his genuine personal friends. Even he was criminally assaulted for not allowing him to become the CA member. He forgot all those criminal assaults made against him. Instead he is maligning the party’s credentials concluding that he has become supreme. The party had appealed him to quit the ministerial post in an honorable manner but he ignored the party’s modest appeal. He went against the party’s command. And the party, in a legal manner initiated penal actions against him. The party had as a matter of fact made known about the party’s decision to the Prime Minister Bhattarai, leaders of the major parties and also the message was duly conveyed to the Nepal Election Commission.

TQ6: Tell us which group is the real party? The one that is being represented by you and your colleagues or the one which the Minister now has taken the command?

Niraula: When the party has expelled him by even relieving from his ordinary membership then how can someone believe in his group? Even if some believe him and take his words as granted then he or she is a fool of the Himalayan order. Yes those who have been claiming themselves as the real and authentic ones were those who could just be taken as the men who believe in opportunism, against the people, men against the party and anti-nationals. Their political destination ultimately will be unknown one.

TQ7: But Minister Neupane organized a press meet and beamingly declared that the party which he commands was the real party which was also taken positively by Prime Minister Bhattarai? What is this dilemma?

Niraula: The ugly and the deformed sons of mother Nepal who do not even understand the meaning of politics; those who play foul with the tacit support of aliens and those who prefer to misuse political authority can speak anything which is absurd. We do not care of the utterances being made by the ugly sons of mother Nepal. They will duly be punished by the general people ultimately. Likewise, it is not that PM Bhattarai has trusted him instead it is the party to which the PM has recognized.

Prior to becoming the Minister, he used to cry that he will now have to face the worst days. But he began exhibiting self aggrandizement upon becoming the Minister. Time will tell about him everything. Even inferior insects follow when one is a minister. The day he no longer remains as a minister even these inferior creatures will sideline him. The day is not that far instead approaching fast.

TQ8: Let’s now change the topic. Tell us where the country is heading towards?

Niraula: Concerted clandestine bids are afoot in order to split mother Nepal into pieces. The split conspiracy is on in the name of culture, religion and in the name of caste so that this beautiful country could be disintegrated. The demand and the very slogan(s) of single identity based state and One Madhesh-One Province is nothing but a ploy to split the nation eventually. The process is in progress.

TQ9: Is it that the nation is moving towards a possible disintegration? Your comments please.

Niraula: To recognize the existence of some six or seven states in the name of Single identity is in itself tantamount to a conspiracy as regards the division of the nation-state. Mind it that Nepal has some 118 different nationalities. So isn’t the move full of a design to split the nation? Our beautiful Nepal is being transformed into former Yugoslavia and Sudan, for example. A community based conflict of the sort what had happened in former Yugoslavia is now being rehearsed. Conflict making or say creation has already become a thriving business for some in Nepal.

TQ10: Maoists Chairman Dahal claims that this government will remain in power for more than two decades plus. What say you?

Niraula: This could be his personal views. Such utterances are quite often made with an authoritarian mindset or as a matter of sheer joke.

TQ11: And what is your personal opinion as regards Nepal’s leaders from Madhesh?

Niraula: Until now they were just busy and had remained engaged in some sort of political business. They got bogged down in their own so called slogan of One Madhesh -One Province. They must now come forward to prove themselves as the sons and daughters of Mother Soil-Nepal.

TQ12: Aren’t they the sons of the same soil-Mother Nepal? What say you Mr. Niraula?

Niraula: They are very much. Yet at times they make surprising utterances and claims. Suspicion crops up looking at their political functioning and performances that have been creating suspicion among the minds of the laymen. They at times are seen asking for separation of some 23 districts and quite often they make remarks that the entire Terai be made an autonomous state on grounds of social, culture and economic issues. They even claim that they do possess cultural rights for what they at times demand. Such utterances could not be a commodity to be digested by Mother Nepal.
