CA baddies await societal rejection

Editorial

Youths are definitely strong pillars of the nation. Today’s youths are tomorrow’s leaders. It is with this spirit, the Nepalese youths must prepare themselves to steer the country or else if the same old and corrupt leaders are allowed to continue to take over the charge of the nation then it is sure that the corrupt ones will turn Nepal into Sikkim sooner than later. A strong and sizeable section of the energetic Nepalese youths across the country perhaps have got the point on time and thus have become serious analyzing the ever deteriorating situation of their own country more so the deterioration has taken a new dimensions, as they conclude, after the country saw the last political change.

The youths of today appear determined to penalize all those who have cheated the nation under one pretext or the other. They know and recognize the corrupts more so in the political sector who have been draining the national exchequer. The youths also understand now better that who is what in essence housed in various political paraphernalia and how they have been squeezing the national coffer on a regular basis. All that they now hopefully await is the timing when these corrupt political personalities who have eaten the very economic stamina of the country in the name of the draft of a new constitution be penalized. The anger is understandable simply because the Constituent Assembly members with the unusual numerical strength of 601 have had vowed to the national population that well within the two years beginning May 28, 2008, they will draft the new constitution. The new constitution has gone to the dogs and interestingly none of the CA white elephants even talk of the draft of the new Charter for this country. Albeit, the white elephants have already pocketed hefty amounts as their monthly salaries in a shameless manner. But yet they feel unashamed. What a shame! Those who have had never seen a rubber slipper have now become millionaire out of the monthly salaries and could now be seen as aristocrats.

It is not that such acts were not known to the lay men more so the country’s youths scattered here and there. In the recent days and weeks, youths belonging to different parts of the country have realized that they were taken for a ride by these 601 white elephants in the name of drafting a new constitution for which these CA members, the national burden-never remained serious. Their seriousness was thus limited on how to pocket money ignoring the job that they have been assigned to and had taken oath of prior to entering into the CA premises.

Part of the problem is the CA Speaker Subash Nembang himself who too exhibited that he was less interested in framing the new constitution and thus allowed the fighting parties enough time to fight which continues even as of today. CA Speaker must be taken to task by these energetic youths as the Speaker never used his special authorities in mending the differences that marred the proceedings of the House. But the CA Speaker did not miss his regular perks and the facilities provided to him by the State. In some way, the CA Speaker must be held accountable and made responsible for the failure in the draft of the new constitution. By this time now, the CA Speaker and his defunct and redundant 601 white elephants must have become multi-millionaires sucking the blood of the national population. Nepalese youth, remain vigilant.

We have been told that the proven blood suckers have tentatively agreed to extend the tenure of the redundant Constituent Assembly only to push the nation closer to a financial disaster. Take note of all these facts Nepalese Youths! You are the last hope. Act fast and help save the nation from going bankrupt.

No wonder then the youths of Sunsari and Myagdi only the other day burnt the effigies of the CA white elephants en masse and expressed their deep anguish and hatred towards those who promised but did not deliver. However, pocketing the salaries did not stop and is continuing perhaps yet.

The event of the burning of the effigies of the CA members was like a celebration but associated with anger and a mood of revenge. Not only the CA members have been rejected by their respective societies but the likelihood also remains that these blood suckers may unfortunately get instant penal actions for having cheated the national population.

The Myagdi youths have even declared that the future local programs will not see the presence of these defunct and cheat CA members.

It is presumed that such bold acts will soon be taken for granted by the youths of other districts which, if at all this does happen, mean that frightening and bad days await now for the CA members.

While we appeal the youths to do the needful as they deem it fit according to their wisdom but also suggest them all not to manhandle or misbehave these CA baddies simply because taking of instant penal actions will only aggravate the law and order situation which is already in a sorry state. Rule of law must prevail. The youths should not forget that we are now a democratic country and even the penal actions must be taken in a democratic manner. Democracy must prevail.

Societal rejection will perhaps be enough for all those who looted this nation for all along twenty four dark months and nights that it was by all means and established democratic criterions.

Had this stupid kanunchi Subhash Nemwang allowed the Maoists’ proposal to discuss on the issue of president’s unconstitutional move he had saved almost six months of CA disruption, but pity that this stupid guy could not step out from his party whip and helped fueling the fire. I never imagined that this guy would act this stupid and puts the whole country in turmoil. Sad, very sad indeed.

Subash Nemwang is prime responsible for not being able to draft constitution in time since he didn't allow to enter debate on president's move to reinstate CAOS .He did this due to his party instruction (Oliiii). Now what have you being shouting democracry -democracy ?Why didn't former gureilla get oppurtunity to take that issue to parliment which is democratically instituted? So, Nemwang is prime culprit , no need to shade crocodile tears. Moreover , it is very surprising to see no media have ever brought this move of Nemwang into light!
