First Hindu State and then Monarchy Revival in Nepal: Kali Baba
Kali Baba, the self-styled Hindu priest of Nepali origin well known for his religio-political activities while talking to journalists in the district of Chitwan March 10, 2010, said that it was just a matter of time that Nepal will accept Hinduism as state religion once again.
Baba Kalidas also visited Devghat, sacred religious site of Hindus which now is being compared with Gaya, India.
“My demand is re-declaration of Hinduism as Nepal’s state religion and I am certain this will happen because more than 85 per cent of Nepali population adheres to this ancient religion.”
“I have the support of Nepal’s major political actors, they have already accepted that they did make blunder by declaring Nepal a secular State in haste”, he added.
He however, clarified that he was not in favor of return of monarchy.
“First Nepal must be declared Hindu State and then followed by Monarchy”, he said adding, “I am not in favor of return of monarchy.”
“It is up to the people to decide on the revival of the nepali monarchy”, he also said.

In any civilized country, politics and government should be separated. US, UK, even Catholic France, have no official religion. Nor should Nepal. No one stops a Hindu to be a Hindu, or a Buddhist to be a Buddhist in a religiously neutral Nepal.
Certainly, there's no any doubt about the sovereign power of people but in the case of current Nepal people have never provided democratic right in order to select the system that state be conducted.People are forced to accept what the so called current political actors used to adopt. So,people must be provided unconditional democratic right about the fate of country. No fundamental national issue would be final unless it is not finally approved by people. That's why there must be referendum prior to implement the fundamental change in state structure.
Jay Nepal !
In Switzerland they have recently had a referendum to decide wheter animals suffering abuse should be given the benefit of public defenders!
In New Nepal the neo-Brahmin leaders do not even trust the people to decide crucial issues of fundamental national importance by direct vote in a referendum, such as on the Hindu rastra, federalism, and monarchy? Leadres of New nepal are scared of going to the people through the simple and direct process of referendum; they prefer more indirect methods (with a comples mix of direct and proportional representation) that few understand and that takes the shape of political engineering to produde pre-determined results.
It is hundred pecent right versin of Kali Baba. We hope it will come true in very soon in future

I would like to ask for forgiveness from Kali baba. I thought he was indian meddling in Nepal. But it seems he is a Nepalese. I feel so happy that a person from Nepal has reached such great esteem in Hinduism. I read Baba's story and it seems like a miracle. I hope Baba will bless mother Nepal. We are the guardians of Hinduism. Kali Baba proves same. My greetings to you kali baba. Wish i could meet you. ############# kali baba was born in Okhaldhunga, Nepal. he is the son of this soil. editor
