Nepal Army is prime enemy of Maoist party: Hisila Yami-Bhattarai

TGW

While her consort is demanding slashing the size of the Nepal Army, Hisila Yami Bhattarai, said on Saturday March 6, 2010, that the Nepal Army was the prime enemy of the Unified Maoists’ party.

How could the companions differ? They must talk on the same lines to which they have been doing in an efficient manner.

Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai, husband of Hisila Yami and a senior Maoists’ leader surprisingly claimed after returning from Patna pilgrimage that the size of Nepal army should be reduced to 46,000 from 95,000.

Yami who is also the politburo member of Unified Maoists’ Party said addressing a program in Bhaktapur organized by Women cell of her party that the Nepal Army was the prime enemy of her party-the Nepal Maoists.

“It was only due to the Nepal Army, the Peoples’ elected Maoists’ Party led government was derailed”, she also claimed.

Dr. Bhattarai talking, on the other hand, claimed told his cadres in Bardiya of Gulariya district that bids were afoot to impose military rule in the country.

“Yami-the spouse of Dr. Bhattarai- also alleged that Nepali Congress and United Marxist Leninists had developed clandestine relations with the Nepal Army and forced us to quit the government May 4, 2009”, Hisila also said.

Both Dr. Bhattarai and Hisila are JNU students.

surely it's not possible to integrate the maoist PLA into the army and reduce the size of the NA as well? Or do they expect to sack about 20000 soldiers just so the PLA can infiltrate.. er, sorry I meant to say integrate??

Tigran, it’s perfectly understandable that you have become delusional given all that “class warrior” filth that you have allowed your mind to be polluted with but that does not in any way detract from what everyone else knows you are: a bottom feeder that supports terrorism.

Unfortunately, the maoists have gone from being a somewhat credible voice for the poor to a large party with criminals and thugs. So yes I agree with tigran that maoist support base has increased but not for the right reasons - they are now outnumbered 3 to 1 favouring criminals and thugs outnumbering the real revolutionaries. The voice for the poor has been duely muffled by the thugs and murderers who joined the party after they became mainstream. So ascent of the "mob" is more fitting them calling it ascent of mao.

Meoow Meoow. As someone rightly pointed out, you are nothing but a hateful right-wing propaganda machine. Be under no illusion that Nepal's Maoists will perish as they have the backing of a third of the population. Their political power has been further increasing since they've been out of government as they are now the sole opposition against almost all of the remaining parties. Democratic system has a tendency to lead towards a two-party system. The only option left for the likes of NC, UML in the next election is to form a unified forum against Unified CPNM. Such has been the ascent of Maoists knowingly/unknowingly. You can keep daydreaming for all your idiocy.

BOTH THE HUSBAND AND WIFE ARE ABSOLUTE TRATIORS TO THE NEPLESE PEOPLE. BABURAM HIS WIFE,PRACHANDA,BADAL,MOHAN DADYA SHOULD BE TRIED FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY,FOR KILLING 10000 NEPLESE PEOPLE.THESE PEOPLE CANNOT FOOL THE GENERAL PUBLIC ALL THE TIME. I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF MAIOST ATROCITIES NOT TO GIVE UP; REVENGE MUST BE TAKEN.THE UPPER ECHELON OF MAOISTS PARTY MUST PAY AT ANY COST.

Tirgran, your Putana of a mother has spoken. It’s the same bile that you spew out, except in your case it’s with gusto entirely consistent with being a bottom feeder that supports terrorism. For the rest of us that don’t support terrorism, the best thing for you and Putana is to be sent on your way where you can happily compare notes with your fallen comrades, the LTTE terrorists.

I don't think this rabid ... means that army is an enemy. She means they are the only pillar stopping this mad ... and her rabid dogs from taking over and taking this nation into further choas.

Who is Hisila Yami, Nepali don't know. You are barking like a dog from the street. Nepal Army is the moists' enemy but you moists are the enemy of Nepal and all Nepalese. You have no any common sense. I think you and your all party leaders are insane, that's why you have killed so many innocent lives, you are murderers, you are traitors. If you have courage come to the public with a cool mind and not threatening them. You can see the result whether these common people like your party or not. Nepal Army have always defened Nepalese people and Nepal but you have not. If you have common sense and if you have ideas to run the you could have been successful but you jungali have the jungali ideas, so how could you be successful? The whole world hates you. You are no better that Hitler or Musolini or Idi Amin or Polpot. You Moists are murderers so you are always afraid of being exposed to the public about this heinous crimes. You hell.
