Nepal’s Republican order on Bihari and Sikkimi mold: Badal

TGW

While some write-ups continue to appear in Nepali media favoring comparison between Nepal’s economic and political condition with India’s poorest state of Bihar referring to Bihar’s staggering figural economic growth of 11 per cent per annum and political stability gained of late, after Nitish Kumar replaced comic leader Laloo Prasad Yadav as the state chief minister, some Nepali leaders on the other hand, totally disfavor Biharization (Bihari Karan) of Nepal.

Among those who hate Bihari model of democracy for Nepal to the hilt is the Unified Maoists’ Party Senior leader Mr. Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal.

Say some, Badal in some way or the other might have taken the line adopted by Shiv Sena - State of Maharastra, India based radical Hindu Party.

The Shiva Sena and its chief Bal Thackrey are abhorrently anti-Muslim and anti-Bihar, Indian media reports frequently claim.

Be that as it may, said Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ of Unified Maoists’ Party that the present republican order of Nepal is molded on Biharai and Sikkimi model of democracy.

Badal made these remarks in Dhading Besi of Dhading District March 3, 2010.

“In order to establish real republican order we need to wage yet another round of struggle”, said Badal.

“This republican order is not of the Nepali people, it is rather an imported republic”, said Badal adding, “We need to institutionalize a Nepali republican order.”

Badal, the military strategist of the Maoist party, at times speaks the truth.

To add, a pretty annoyed Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Rakesh Sood over frequent remarks being aired by some leaders in Nepal that Nepal was being Biharized had said addressing a program organized by Nepal India Friendship society in Kathmandu, Wednesday January 27, 2010 that it was inappropriate to make such remarks because Bihar has already crossed the growth rate of 11 per cent per annum last year.

It was after Sood’s pro-Bihar speech some write-ups have begun appearing in Nepali media supporting his claim.

Sood’s claim has some point. Bihar must have attained a new growth over these years because, senior economists claim, the poorest of the poor from Bihar have already entered into Nepal.

Badal succeeded in using ignorant and illiterate Nepali people in waging a so called Peoples War. Now he wants to use the entire Nepali mass to fight mighty India so that Nepal would become a part of the Indian Empire. Badal and his Maoist henchmen are working for the interest of India. This is confirmed from the provocative speeches by Prachanda and his comrades in arms.

Mr Badal and the people commenting here area classic case of pot calling kettle black.I am sure if India wanted to annexe Nepal our military would have done it anyways. No one has the time and stupdity to plan takeover of a basket case.If India were to kick out the neplese population it would be a a nightmare for nepal.I have seen many Nepali people in India working, never has ANY INDIAN claimed that Nepal is out to colonise India. And as Mr Raj ShresthA would know calling nakmes like Dhotis never place you on a higher civilizational plain( like people in India tend to refer neplai people as bahadur). Its high time neighbours around India start moving out of the conspiracy mindset and set their own couse in order.Feel inspired from your neighbour Bihar which has done a stupendous job,if you do not tend to belive just google it.I hope for the best for NEPAL as we Hindus in India has a special reverence for it,for us its sacred ,something to be looked up to .

I agree with b monk completely. Biharis and ....is should be chased out of Nepal. The citizenship act should be revoked. Who are these fools who distributed millions of nepali citizenship to Dhotis? How could we be so stupid? Isnt the design so darn obvious? That is why we need ministers with critical thinking. We lack that at the moment coz our present ministers are picked up from the street. I also agree that our head of state should not be a bihari. Political correctness gone too far. Why we are so stupid? Political correctness will destroy Nepal and her identity. We need monarchy back at all costs to save us from destruction. Please cancel the citizenship act. Close the borders with Bihar and UP. These biharis are a bane to both india and nepal. They should form a country of their own and better manage themselves rather than always migrating and taking their garbage with them wherever they go.

Badalji you have taken more than 10,000 innocent lives in the name of so called people's war in 10 years and how many more lives you want to take now? Have you ever thought that those whom you have motivated to die for you are the sons and daughters of poor people? Can you fight yourself or send your children to fight in the war? Don't kill any more people and don't shed any more tears from innocent poor parents and don't make innocent wives widow or innocent children orphans. You have devastated Nepal And Nepalese, and what more you want to do? You were in government once and you could do nothing as you do not have any idea of running the government. you can run a government only in the forest. So badal becareful, look around the world, don't go back to some centuries ago and try to impose the same idology that was fit at that time.

You like it or not--but it is a fact that the presence of millions of Biharis in Nepal is already a security threat to the country. The reason is that save a few the majority of Biharis are not loyal to Nepal but to Imperial India. The Bihais come to Nepal not because they like the country but because they are here to colonize it first and then to annex it to Bihar. In other words, the Biharis are in Nepal in millions not because they love Nepal but they are encouraged to go to Nepal by the Indian government and it is a part of Indian strategy to annex Nepal. That is the reason why this Sood or Fud guy defends the rights of Biharis in Nepal. We know that he does not defend the rights of Biharis in India. A logical question arises here as to why this Sood guy does not defend the rights of Biharis in India? And, we know that Biharis are not treated well in India. The reason is that he needs them to be in Nepal not in Bihar or India. For this same reason giving the citizenships to millions of Biharis by passing an act amounts to treason and that citizenship act must be revoked. Do not think that it is a jok. It is not. It is a serious problem and Nepal needs to address this problem soon or face annexation. Everyone in Nepal knows that Biharis are the greatest threat to the sovereignty and independence of Nepal. But the problem is that for the fear of being seen as anti-India everyone likes to avoid this question and for this same reason Badal is not talking to the point. What he should be saying is Biharis are not welcome in Nepal. After all unless there is a malicious motives no citizen of a super power wants a citizenship of a poorest country like Nepla and malicious reasons are what motivating these Bijaris to take Nepali citizenships---I wonder how much New Delhi pays them in compensation for taking up Nepali citizenship? Trust me it is a big mistake to give them Nepali citizenship and make them head of the state, mp or things like that. By the way you can call me a racist. I do not like Biharis in Nepal---They make good friends only when they are in Bihar or India---In other words, Nepal needs be freed from those Biharis who are not loyal to Nepal. The same goes to the marwaris.

Badal is a typical leader in the warped janajati mold: barks a lot, but, at the end of the day, knows only too well his purpose in life - to serve charlatans of the Prachanda variety, if need be as cannon fodder. That's what he understands and is blisfully content with his lot. Trying to get wretches like Badal to think for themselves is an entirely wasted effort.
