It is a very shamefull thing to be converted from one caste to another . praying for many years a single god and questioning the same god . First of all i want to question where are they living, they are living in "HINDUSTAN" were hindu's do live due to many invassions by other people to our contry they have brought there religion here... they are staying in there religion only but some off the goats who are listening there words during bad times of the person where he blames the god for his deeds and convert into other caste that god has done nothing for him is damn foolishness and silly. government have to take a serious action and must stop these conversions of the caste as these become a serious problem ahead B'coz it raises the diffrence's b/w the god which is a very sensitive matter...

Religion should be based on truth and truth only. Not what your family does or other reasons. As a catholic christian I can understand I would also be upset if people were leaving my religion, because I believe it is the truth. Ofcourse everyone should have a right to choose their own religion, no forced conversions, which is not really a conversion anyway. Hinduism has become so entrenched into Indian culture, and although it has provided a traditional system due to God's law being written in man's heart (natural law), people should investigate religion on their own and find out what is true. Miracles? Who founded the religion? Are beliefs logical? Historical evidence? Prophecies? and on and on. If one is convinced Hinduism is true, that is fine, but do not just choose your religion on family ties and emotions, but on intellectual investigation and logical analysis. Go wherever the truth leads, your eternity depends on it.

Dear Nepalese, no need to be alarmed that 1 million Hindus converted to Christianity because many who are converted do not have the conviction of the Christian faith. Many treat Jesus Christ as one of their Gods and many converts are enjoying the hospitality given by the Christians! I call these people "rice Christians"! I've witnessed Nepalese who went overseas for bible training, then hop from church to church to garner financial support, on the pretext of church planting in Nepal only to find out they use the funds given to send their children to private schools! So i won't be surprised if many more are converted to enjoy the hospitality given by the Christians. So don't worry be happy!

Kamal Thapa is 100% right about the conversion of Hindus to Christianity. Last year on the day of Shivaratri some people were distributing the paper about the Bible and Jesus( convincing people) in Gaushala on the way to Pashupatinath. I was really shocked and got amazed to see the tolorence of the Hindus. Just imagine this things happening during christmas in front of any Church in USA or UK.
