Nepali Congress to Grab weapons, if need arises: Khadka

TGW

“The Nepali Congress is out-and-out a peace loving party”, said Khum Bahadur Khadka adding, “But if the Maoists’ continue to attack our cadres, grab privately owned lands…there will be no option for the Nepali Congress than to grab weapons and retaliate.”

Mr. Khadka, former home minister and a senior Nepali Congress leader made the statement addressing a journalist interaction program in Gulmi district today, February 1, 2010.

The press-meet was organized by Nepal Press Union- a NC tilted media organziaiton in Tamghas of Gulmi.

“The question is for how long our cadres are continued to be thrashed by the Maoists”, he asked.

“A youth outfit, Taruan Dasta, is needed to safeguard our cadres”, said Khum Bahadur.

Mr. Khadka was of the opinion that the Maoists do not want to see the constitution drafting process see the timely conclusion.

However, said Khadka, delay in drafting the constitution will ensure the inevitable Maoists’ disintegration.

It is a pretend of Khadka to protect him since he fears 24 hours that he is target or hit list of Maoists after mass massacre of Maoists cadre during election at Satbaria Dang. He is trying to defend or protect himself since he feels very much unsecure. Why to make NC like communists hooligans' party? This is prime reason he has been shouting lets become hooligan wherever he goes.
