Sri Krishna Yadav, TMLP leader killed in road accident

The Tarai Madhesh Loktantrik Party (TMLP) leader Sri Krishna Yadav- an Engineer by profession died in a vehicle accident at Jurikheti in Bhimphedi VDC 8 Makawanpur Friday January 22.

Late Yadav who served the pro-Madhesi party as a treasurer, including four other party cadres died when a Nissan Jeep with government registration number Ba.2.Cha 1269 heading towards Hetauda, Makwanpur district from Kathmandu veered off the road at 3:30 pm.

The vehicle plunged 500 meter below the road from Jurikhet’s hill.

The Area Police Office Bhimphedi said that late Yadav, a local resident of Dhanusa district was killed on the spot.

The other three leaders who were also killed in the accident are Arun Yadav, Parameshwor Shah and Driver Bhola Hhaluwai from Mahottari district.

Their bodies have been bought to Hetauda Hospital.

Late Yadav’s body has been taken to Janakpur Dham, where last rites would be carried out today.

I am deeply shocked to hear the unfortunate incident that caused the sorrowful demise of TMLP leaders. To have known them personally, I believe this is a great loss for me, their family and all madheshi people whom they represent. My deep condolence is with their family.
