New Delhi Exposed!
The lid of the box as such should have been opened long time back. Better late than never, the box now is open and thus let’s deduce that the opening of Pandora’s Box will certainly carry out its tasks and take its desired negative toll.
Understandably, dark clouds have already begun hovering over the Nepali sky as the opening of this box has summarily insulted, humiliated, and dragged into political controversy such a “traditional” friend in the South which so far had forcefully taken over the administrative charge of this nation beginning early 1950s.
The Indian establishment now remains exposed to an unprecedented scale and with this the Chinese have got a golden opportunity to peep into Nepali affairs as was expressed by the Chinese President Hu Jin Tao the other day.
Prachanda, the Maoist party Chairman, December 22, 2009, collected the needed courage to expose what he calls the “naked interference” of the Indian regime in the internal affairs of Nepal.
Mercifully, Prachanda told every thing about the Indian interference in
One has to appreciate his courage. How long this courage will last is altogether a different matter.
When enough had been enough, Prachanda expressed his bitter and the ad nauseating feelings about the Indian intervention in Nepali affairs which perhaps he may have himself faced during his own Premiership not so in the distant past. Prachanda ruled this nation for all along nine months.
But the question is how come a former Nepal PM and now the leader of the main opposition party who himself took shelter in New Delhi for all along eight years plus and was accorded a “friendly treatment” by the Indian regime become all of a sudden anti-India and spit venom against the same regime which took extra care of his stay in Delhi not so in the distant past?
After all, what made Prachanda to go against the regime which he liked most in his bid to sideline the Nepali monarchy wherein he finally bagged success through the kind courtesy of Shyam Saran-the then Indian foreign secretary? What went wrong in between the Indian establishment and Prachanda in the mean time? Is it that Prachanda was excessively pressurized by his former shelter-giver to the extent that he had to tell the entire history of Indian interference to a mammoth crowd of his own party cadres on December 22, 2009? The crowd was impressive by the way. Some passersby too enjoyed his fiery lecture.
Having said that, Prachanda has already spoken and that the people at large have come to understand now that the Goliath in the South must have exceeded its limits thus forcing Prachanda to ventilate his ire against the Indian establishment. But he spoke on time. So nice of you Prachanda! Some one had to take the lead and you took it. And analysts hope you will keep it up.
Once spoken, now you can’t retract because it has already been recorded. You can’t take your words back. Prachanda now is in a trap for he can’t take his utterances back and begin seducing the same establishment against whom he made scathing statements.
The Indian regime must have come to its original senses. The regime in the South must have felt that it nurtured a different stuff for all along eight years in
Things have boomeranged on
Now
However, quite interestingly, a section of the intellectuals suspect that it should have been New Delhi which encouraged Prachanda to talk against New Delhi because had New Delhi been really serious and in an angered mood then why, above all, the Indian Ambassador Rakesh Sood, should have gone to meet Prachanda, December 27, 2009, prior to his departure to his home to brief his masters?
Surprising though it may appear, but the fact is that Sood upon meeting Prachanda said that “We want to improve relations with your party”.
Sood in effect should have expressed his total anger towards Prachanda and his party for the manner his country was taken to task, December 22, 2009, but instead Sood begged to have an “improved relations” with a party which brought his country to the foot path? This raises some eye brows in
Prachanda’s anger towards India and Sood’s plea to have improved relations are two different line of political considerations which force the Nepali intellectuals to smell rat in the entire anti-India drama staged by the Maoist party more so that of Prachanda.
Sood-the Lord Mountbatten of Nepal has already returned from his Delhi trip.
Or is it that
Observers here, however, take Sood’s meet with Prachanda in a different manner.
This section claim that Sood went to see Prachanda not to congratulate him for his extraordinary India bashing of December 22, 2009, but instead he would have gone there to reprimand Prachanda for his follies that he made on December 22, 2009, and may have during the meet scolded Prachanda and in a threat loaded statement may have also told Prachanda to keep quiet or else India will expose the entire details of the Maoists People’s War strategy that was crafted in Delhi in association with the local “Indian friends” who had in essence drafted the 12 point agreement.
But Prachanda appears to have taken a different posture which is to further expose
What complicated the matter in between the Indian regime and the Maoists party is perhaps the blunt “instructions” of Indian Army Chief, Dipak Kapoor, served on Nepal Army chief during the latter’s visit to New Delhi wherein Kapoor is on record to have said Nepal Army Chief “not to integrate the Maoist militias into the mainstream Nepal Army under any circumstances”.
“Who is this Mr. Kapoor?” “Is he
By the way, the Indian Army chief is arriving Nepal January 29, 2010.
And thus Prachanda easily claimed that the slogan of
What Prachanda ventilated on December 22, 2009, is correct and a fact.
However, how long Prachanda will remain honest to his verbal war against the Indian regime that he has “formally initiated” is a matter of concern for all the nationalists of this country, if remaining.
Interestingly, most of the Indo-pendent Nepali leaders, who survive on doles and grants supplied to them by the Southern neighbor, criticized the Maoists party chief stating that Prachanda out of frustration came heavily down against the Indian regime and that his declaration that he would now talk straight to New Delhi for the resolution of the current Nepal ailments was nothing but his ploy to seduce the Indian regime to bounce back to power.
Be that as it may, Prachanda has spoken.
The NC and the UML have decided to warm up the streets against the Maoists.
However, it would be this exclusion of the Maoists which will further encourage the sidelined Maoists to pounce upon India in a much more convincing manner. The hardliners in the Maoists camp will not allow Prachanda to take his words back or else the party will see a vertical split. Prachanda understands this fact.
The Maoists have already declared that they would join hands with the nationalists and the republicans in order to wage a struggle for the preservation of
How politics unfolds in the coming days and weeks will have to be carefully observed.
The damage is done already. The Indian regime and the Maoists are now already face to face. Who will emerge victorious is any body’s guess.

Nepal virtually lies no where now. With increasing distance from India and interference of Commies, it's gonna be a living hell soon.
Dear friends,
I am a young student from Bharat Or India.I don't know why our Nepali friends are so angry with us i am deeply shocked with anti-Indian sentiments in Nepal. We many in India don't see Nepalis as different from us,we are culturally one nation, both India and Nepal are punya bhumi(holy land) to us. Can any one make me understand the Nepali point of view?plz give quick attention to my query.
Prachanda has done nothing special and new. Each and everybody in the world, not to talk about Nepalese, know about direct intervention of India in Nepal'e internal politics. But, very few of us know about the fact that all the politicians to come to power in Nepal first harsly criticize India. By doing this they play with the sentiment of the Nepalese people and get their support. After it all of them go to their Godfather (MY BAP)India to ask their favour to be in power. There is nothing new in this drama. Prachanda heated during his speech in front of his party members, because he had to make fool of them. Nothing more than this. Have you seen the reaction when he said anti-indian rethorics? It was with heavy clapping and hurras! That's what his supporter want to listen. He is a very good actor anyway. Congratulation to him. Also he is a very big liar, we all know from his past speech and claims about plot of attack on US ambassador, capture of state by monarchist etc etc.
We should be very honest to the reality. Fact is we cann't change our neighbor, so why not to have a good relation with them. If our internal problem we can solve by ourself, no one can get a place to interfere in it. So instead blaiming others, we must be solving our own internal problems. At least doing so we won't have to rely on our neighbors to interfer.
We have to keep friendly relations with India due to our similar cultural and religious traditions. But sadly Indian congress, ever since coming to power has been striving to destabilize Nepal. India, through its intelligence agency ‘RAW’, has been found continuously involved in destabilizing our national identities - royal institution, Hindu Kingdom and national language, which were developed along with the ideology of national unity, security and national identity. RAW through its agents in the Nepali Congress, UML and Maoist parties is now pressing for autonomous federal states on communal basis. Presently, India is trying to disintegrate Nepal by separating Tarai as ‘Madhes state’ and power hungry leaders in the Nepali Congress, UML, Maoist and Tarai are serving the vested Indian interests.
The Maoist leader Prachanda has exposed the reality of Indian intrevention, now. I extend thanks him, but he is one of the flexible man. In this pious country there should be maintained good governance. Good governance means transparency, accountability and predictability. If we have not such trend we can't find the security and the nationality will disintegrate. Since 2006, no one, the leaders and government's mechanism are not responsible for nation.
As per Indian agenda to destroy Nepal, the Constituent Assembly elections were conducted for 601 members. India is active to disintegrate Nepal by igniting anti-nationalist agendas as republic, secularism, federalism and caste-based ethnic autonomy through pro-Indian elements in CA. Including Prachada, the leaders of so-called big party are suspious. They are, anyhow, going to destroy our coontry-Nepal.The Shah Kings always fought with imperialist forces to protect modern Nepal. They have still not vowed before the foreigners. Nepal’s royal institution is the backbone of nationality. King Gyanendra has taught a lesson by renouncing the Narayanhiti Royal Palace and denying taking shelter in foreign land. It is the duty of the nationalists within the political parties and all the Nepali people to maintain Nepal’s pride by establishing royal institution for generations to come. Nepali people will bleed for the continuation of monarchy.
This author talks about the exposed happened on Dec 22 09 but what was the story??? what did he exposed?? what a nonsense writing.
Nepal has seen anti India rant from every opposition party, nothing new. All political leaders (parties) draw their power from India. Prachanda's speech is just a tantrum to get some attention from his masters.
Sure, My salute to Prachanda but as like article states he and his party stand on this position untill we acheive our complete freedom as Indipendent state. Of course, Nepalese people are behind nationalist but this does not mean royalist. We won't give any one power by born or above land of laws. Also maoist need to improve its activities of threading opponent. This mean democracy should be our buttomline. Oli chor and Girija marija won't work for our greate nation.
What rot! There is clear evidence from within the Maoist Party to say that Prachanda apologised to Sood for his outburst and explained his remarks as being the "need of public consumption". What little credibililty he had has been fully blown - now he is rightly regarded by South Block as yet another Class A Nepali chutia. Dahal baje is joining a long-list of illustrious traitors starting with Gajraj Misra.
Artha na Bartha Govinda Gai.... un conclusive story ... do something meening ful.,.., give us the output man ,,,, don't just make confuse leave that to politicians....
Who are the 'nationalist'? Could the author please define? Does it include the royalists?
love this ---! But,we will always be under the southern giant, the roots are so deep, that somebody needs to drop a nuclear bomb to uproot everyhting....
