Nepal Ex-Sovereign Gyanendra Shah to meet Sonia Gandhi in Delhi

TGW

Nepal’s last King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah and Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Shah are all set to visit India, beginning December 6, 2009 reports the Jan Bhawana Weekly dated November 16, 2009.

Nepal’s former Sovereign is scheduled to attend a marriage ceremony of one of his close relatives in Bhubaneshowr, State of Orissa, India.

However, prior to heading for Orissa, the former Nepali Royal couple will stay in New Delhi for three days in series.

During their short stint in New Delhi, Gyanendra Shah will grant audience to the Indian Prime Minister Dr. Man Mohan Singh, Indian National Congress Party Chairwoman Smt. Sonia Gandhi, some senior Indian leaders plus key Indian bureaucrats.

Their stay in India will be for a week period, reports conclude.

However, here in Kathmandu, Gyanendra’s stay in India is expected to increase the heart beats of the leaders of New Republican order.

High placed sources claim that the Indian leadership including Smt. Gandhi, could seek wise counsel from the former King of Nepal on how to block the increasing Chinese penetration in Nepal?
Taking into account that India played major role in abolishing the only Hindu monarchy, how former King of Nepal would provide his wise counsel to the Indian establishment is shrouded in mystery, say experts.

The realization begins perhaps.

River cannot flow backward, so Monarchy can not come back but neoking like Ram Badan .Judged from the attitude and workings of Nepali Congress and UML Gyanendra has done much better giving up Sovereignty to the people. He has not bow down before India. India will never accept any one who will not surrender Nepali's sovereignty to India and act as its puppet as the present government is doing.

India must not be a hesitant for reviewing its earlier policy to see Nepal without institution of Monarchy.Indeed,Nepal without institution of monarchy would also be great trouble to India as well because it would most likely to face very unique and troublsome problems related to issues of China-India relation and uprising of ultra leftist in its extending territory. So,it would be high time to India as well to wise and realistic by rethinking its previous policy about supporting the idea of Neapl without Monarchy.Jay Nepal !

Can you not stop talking about the monarchs, particularly this former dictator! We are tired of this and thrown him and the institution out for ever and ever!

Still we people are behalf of monarchical institution. That is why ex-king should put His talk clearly over to Indian top active leaders.

Political polarization is not there as yet. To remind you, the Maoists have come only after a people’s war but not the rest of the political parties. It could be this factor which may have brought or to come to surface certain differences with the Maoists over some political issues. More..
