Deuba after Bamdev too predicts Nepal Charter draft not on time

TGW

Sher Bahadur Deuba, one of the senior leaders of the Nepali Congress party has predicted that the new constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal will not be drafted on time.

“The New Constitution will be drafted”, Deuba said adding “albeit it will take at least one and a half years more.”

He maintained that the new constitution should not be drafted in haste which may shorten its longevity.

“We should draft such a constitution that will survive for few centuries.”

“All parties must unite to draft the New Constitution that will be of a high quality”, said Deuba.

Deuba was talking to the press men in Pokhara, Kaski District, Friday October 30, 2009.

Almost on the same lines, Bam Dev Gautam, October 21, 2009, too predicted that the Constitution could not be drafted on time looking at the current politics of the country.

The press meet was organized by Press Union Kaski Chapter.

The Press Union is the organization of Journalists affiliated to the Nepali Congress Party.

Most of the time during the speech, Deuba criticized the Unified Maoists’ party which was only but natural because his vehicle the other day was torched by the Maoists in Chitwan district.

Is not Deuba the same person who dissolved the parliament and said election was impossible. Because of him all the problem started and because of him, King dared to take over. He is moral-less person. Now he says constitution cannot be made. What can he do ? Just cry and make his wife a sansad ? So waht will people do till one and half years without constitution ? He wants to extend the interim constitution and the sansad's term ?
