Nepal PM claims no land dispute with India

TGW

In what could be taken as an expected statement coming from the India elevated executive Head of Nepal, Mr. Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that there exist no dispute as such with the neighbor in the South over Nepali lands being illegally swallowed by India.

Prime Minister Nepal opines that except Kalapani and Susta, there is no problem between the two countries which could be taken as a case of land dispute in between the two countries.

Nepal’s Prime Minister addressing a meeting organized by National Interest Preservation Committee of the Constituent Assembly said on Friday October 30, 2009, that 98 per cent of land disputes between the two countries have already be settled.

Mr. Nepal’s statement is in line with what Nepal’s Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala and Indian Foreign Secretary, Shiva Shankar Menon and later Nirupama Rao, have been claiming.

His Master’s Voice!

Sujata also believes that 98 per cent of border issues have already been addressed yet locals living along the border regularly claim that Indian Border Security Forces every now and then move inside the Nepali territory and thrash them apart from encroaching upon their lands.

Mr. Nepal said that now the two sides need to formally sign the map prepared by the Bilateral Border Committee.

Nevertheless, Mr. Nepal maintained that unless national consensus was reached on the border issue, his government would not endorse the map.

Other members of the National Interest Preservation Committee however, said that India has illegally occupied Nepali lands along 54 different locations along the border and that India has only recently occupied Nepali lands in Pashupati Nagar of Ilam and district of Dang.

Sujata Koirala, deputy prime minister and the minister for foreign affairs maintained that since Nepal still lacks strong Foreign policy, it was getting increasingly difficult to protect its lands and control criminal activities along the border.

some of politial parties are demonstrating to fulfil their demands. Why Nepali people who are victimized the land encrochment by Indian side why they do not demonstrate infront the PM. In any way we people guess PM is the hero of film. He was giving the speech as film suiting action. Some of Nepali constitutional members were visiting the land encroahment site and they were giving their report. That is why our government is dancing according the Indian government they need only power but they do not have time to are own citizens. In sometime sagauli treaty also raisng but it is not wide range. but any way PN shah was unified this Nepal but so called New Nepal political actors destroyed the monarchical institution. If Nepali politial parties are real politician they should praise the PN Shah and monarchical institution. Our New Nepal politician destroyed the historial political development of Nepal. As well Nepali concerning sectors' scholars also look like blind horses. In this way we have lack of different scholars to analyze the Nepali situation.

That what Makuney is saying mean that he will sell our mother land for a PM chair. Makuney already sold himself to India so there is no surprise by his saying. It is a fact that Makuney can harm our loving motherland, Wake up people and kick out Makuney from Nepal .
