Nepal Maoist Delaying Constitution Draft: Khanal

The United Marxist Leninists Party Chairman has landed in Syangja, October 11, 2009 to inaugurate the UML’s Syangja District Convention.

Talking to reporters said Mr. Jhala Nath Khanal said that the constitution drafting delay is mainly happening due to the Maoists’ Party obstinate behaviour.

He also urged his party cadres to resist the Maoist Party’s erratic policies and demands.

He also said that unless the major political partners of the peace process, the UML, Nepali Congress and the Maoists arrived at a consensus and forged unity, neither the constitution drafting process will be complete nor the CA body will have its significance.
