Civic rule fails, option is Elections or Nepal Army Rule: Bijukche

Narayan Man Bijukche, Chairperson of Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party (Peasant’s Workers Party) has bluntly told that the Civic Rule in the country has failed miserably.

Mr. Bijukche while saw the Civic Rule a grand failure also forwarded two options to get rid of the current mess.

The first one, said Bijukche, “was the conduct of fresh parliamentary elections” and the second, imposition of “Army Rule”.

According to him, these two options were only available for the country to get rid of the current mess.

Mr. Bijukche talked to journalists in Butwal of Rupandehi district, October 8, 2009.

Mr. Bijukche was of the opinion that the major three parties are to be held responsible from the failure of the Civic Rule in the country.

“It is highly unlikely that the Governments’ FY budget will get approval from the parliament”, said Bijukche, “We have to begin looking for a suitable alternative to end the current political stalemate.”

Bijukche is taken as a strong nationalist leader who dared to declare long time back that the 12 point New Delhi sponsored November 22, 2005, agreement signed by the seven parties together with the then India residing Nepal Maoists was drafted in Hindi first and later translated into Nepali for Nepal’s consumption.
Daring declaration indeed!

Fascinating speculation about the Bhatkapure's credentials, but where exactly did he claim not to have signed the 12 Point Agreement?
