Counter Revolution or Regression likely in Nepal: Khanal
Jhala Nath Khanal, presumed to be the Maoists’ friendly chairman of the Nepal Communist Party United Marxist Leninists, UML, has warned against the possibility of a Counter Revolution or Regression taking place in the country.
“The diverging interests of the major political parties are inviting a Counter Revolution or a Regression”, said Khanal talking to journalists in Bhairawaha, Rupandehi District, October 8, 2009.
However, Mr. Khanal did not mention as to which political quarter in Nepal was hatching conspiracy against the Republican order?
“The thin breeze of consensus between the political parties is facilitating the sudden approach of a Counter Revolution or a Regression.”
“We are about to lose all the pro-people achievements we have made so far”, added Mr. Khanal.
Mr. Khanal talked to journalists in Butwal on his way to Argakhanchi District.
Is it that the UML captain has accepted defeat?
