Nepal’s Parliament leaders are real criminals: Dr. Bhattarai

TGW
Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai has said that the first President of the Republic, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav is the new avatar, incarnation, of Nepal’s last Monarch Gyanendra Shah.
Dr. Bhattarai made this remark while addressing a mass meet in Dipayal of Doti district, September 12, 2009.
“President Ram Baran is the new avatar of Gyanendra”, said Dr. Bhattarai adding that, “Finally, Yadav will also have a fate similar to Gyanendra.”
While reminding the leaders of the parliamentary parties that in the year 2052 as the parties had ignored the Maoists 40 Point demands, the party had declared the revolt and eventually the 240 years of Monarchy demolished, he said, “If they ignore our fresh 45 point demands it is certain that the fate of the parties will be akin to the institution of monarchy.”
Dr. Bhattarai also claimed that the Maoists’ practice of parliamentary system of democracy was much better than what the reactionary parliamentary political parties of Nepal have been practicing.

Bhattarai asked, “What crime did we commit while we were in power?”

He also said, “The coalition partners who only abide by the diktats of their foreign masters are the real criminals.”

“The parliamentary parties of Nepal are conspiring to dissolve the Constituent Assembly”, Dr. Bhattarai also claimed.

Dr. Bhattarai, have you ever try to fulfill the 40 point demand of your own party while you were in the government? Now, what makes you believe that people will support new 45 point demand?

Five questions

alt No design to corner Maoists
Pashupati Shumser Rana , Chairman, Rastriya Prajatantra Party
Political polarization is not there as yet. To remind you, the Maoists have come only after a people’s war but not the rest of the political parties. It could be this factor which may have brought or to come to surface certain differences with the Maoists over some political issues. More..
