Nepal Maoist cadres thrash UML cadres
The Maoists Party cadres severely thrashed some cadres of the United Marxist Leninists Party for ignoring to take part in the Maoists’ Party organized mass-meet in Kathmandu, September 11, 2009.
The Kathmandu mass meet was addressed by Maoists’’ top hats including Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
The Maoists party cadres who were equipped with lethal homemade weapons attacked the workers of the Elite Firm Industries affiliated to the Workers Union tilted to the UML.
“More than 60 YCL (Young Communist League) cadres suddenly arrived and thrashed us heavily for ignoring to take part in the mass meet”, said Navraj Gautam and Sundar Dahal who were treated for injuries at the Patan Hospital.
The YCL group was led by Matrika Koirala, a leader of the Maoists’ Affiliated Trade Union.
