Nepal-UML leader favors State Capture for Peoples’ Constitution

TGW

The United Marxist Leninists Party fire brand vice chairman Mr. Bam Dev Gautam has revealed that the UML’s main objective too was no different than the Maoists’ Party’s goal of State Capture through a Peoples’ revolt.

“To make the people the real owner of the nation is only possible through the Peoples’ Revolt”, said Mr. Gautam addressing a program in Itahari of Sunsari District, August 29, 2009.

“Only after the total capture of the State can we draft the peoples’ constitution”, Gautam said adding, “We cannot establish a communist state holding an election or through political bargaining.”

“We cannot work in favor of the proletariat by aligning with the capitalists”, added Gautam.

“These were diametrically opposing trends and traits”, said Gautam.

Mr. Gautam was of the opinion that the UML, in many more ways than one, has become akin to the Nepali Congress Party.

Mr. Gautam made it clear that with Maoists’ already being cornered, the New Constitution cannot be drafted.

“The Current government has already surrendered executive rights of the government to the President who can in turn any time sack Madhav Kumar Nepal and appoint someone of his preference as the Prime Minister of the country”, Gautam predicated.

UML insiders claim that Mr. Gautam is excessively close to the Maoists.

Gurkhas, you are right. Whoever goes against your will should be gunned down, right? Whoever thinks of the whole nation should be gunned down. What a destructive mind you have. There is only one organization in Nepal which is fighting for the right of poor people. If most part of Nepal is covered by those poors then first of all, poors should be up lifted and no any party other than Maoist do this. We have seen Kings for many years, Ranas and Panchas. Kings made themselves the avatars of God and Goddess but kept acting like Danav. Leave Ranas because they are not human beings. How about so called Panchas? At last, we have seen Girija branded government. Nothing, just grab chair. So, what is good and bad, it's in front of you but if you don't have enough sense then what can be said, " Ram matrai bhanna sakinchha tara kaandh thapne kura hudaina."
