Nepal Government arrests 140 Tibetan monks

TGW

The Maoists-led Government in Nepal has said that it has arrested 140 supporters of the Dalai Lama- while trying to sneak into Tibet on Monday, March 9, 2009.

The government report also says that the Tibetan monks had reserved three public vehicles and were heading towards the closest Nepal-Tibet Border in Sindupalchowk District.

Unofficial reports, however, claim that the monks were heading towards a Buddhist Monastery located in Listi VDC of Sindupalchowk district of Nepal instead what has been claimed by Nepal Government.

“The three vehicles were brought back to Kathmandu under the police escort”, the report further says.

The Maoists’ led government in Nepal has beefed up security along Nepal-Tibet border foreseeing anti-China protest on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Chinese rule in Tibet.

On the contrary, the Chinese government claims that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the democratic reform in Tibet.

Nepali police force has been told by the Maoists government to beef up security in the areas around the Chinese Embassy and the consular office in Kathmandu.

In the meantime, the Tibetan Government in exile has declared that an award of ten million rupees will be granted to anyone who dares to hoist a Placard with Free-Tibet slogan in the Friendship Bridge that links Nepal with China’s Tibet.

At a program recently held in Beijing, the Chinese Foreign Minister Mr. Yang Jiechi had told that the Dalai Lama was not even a monk.

All the Maoist idiots should add suffix in their names MTT( Mao Tse Tung), like Ranas add JBR.

Hello, It is such nonsense that the Tibetan Government in exile would post an award for the raising of a placard. On the contrary the direction coming from the Tibetan Government in Exile's office would side dramatically on the side of caution and peace. Could anyone really believe they are interested in placing the lives of Tibetans in such danger for a placard. Nonsense. Meanwhile the buffoons running the Chinese communist party now have new lapdogs in Nepal. Each nick-named Mao.
