Still there is threat of Sikkimization: Nepal Minister Gurung

TGW

“We will not let Nepal become a playground for international power centers.”

Dev Gurung-a senior Maoist leader and Minister for Law and Justice also said that “The international power centers are trying to use Nepal as a playground against each other, all Nepali forces must unite to fight against such ongoing international conspiracies”.

Minister Gurung made these revelations at a program held in Pokhara, Kaski District, Friday January 2, 2009.

Nepal is currently facing threats to its national sovereignty and independence” said Gurung without naming the forces that were against Nepal’s sovereignty and independence.

“As the Nepali population continues to proceed in their victory march, reactionary elements are slowly but surely making their clandestine moves and the ongoing foreign play in all does pose a threat a la Sikkimization”.

Sikkim, an independent country in the Himalayas was forcibly annexed by the Indian establishment as back as in 1974.

Minister Gurung addressing the program organized by the Thakali National Liberation Front also urged the Thakali Community to unite and fight for their rights.

“The Thakali Community must preserve their Land, Language and culture”, Minister Gurung concluded.

sikkimisation? these are some new tactics that maoist are propagating . It is their new agenda to keep fooling people. Nepal can never become sikkim. When time comes to that, the nation will leave everything and come down to war with the aggressing country. Let history be a lesson to those who think on these lines. When Nepalese will have nothing to lose, they will take all those responsible to task right from prachanda to his india masters. Time will tell everything .

Nepali political parties and government actiivites is forwarding Nepal as Sikkimization. They are telling we are quite good in every sector but thing is not going that way. The disinstabalization of this country is main hand over our political leaders. Otherwise why they could abolished the 240 years old monarchical institution. Day by day they are vanishing the Nepali identity that is why we people still wait to see monarchical institution to preserve the cultural and religious subject matters only. Still people have great faith over monarchical institution. We need peace and security which is only possible after restablishning the monarchical institution. Every one has enough space to survive. That is why we should think and so on.

Mr Gurung, Continue with the stupid policy of not recognizing the very existance of other ideology, Sikkimization will be very soonner than you think. Continue to terrorize Nepalese with YCl,your fear will come true. Continue with the policy of fooling, sign the agrremnts and do against that agreement . Rule the country without any vision and threaten " If our government is pulled down Nepal will collapse, nobody can write constitution", sikkimization will be soon. Your friend, a minister Gopal Kirati says " We will not follow the suprime court's verdict on priests of Pashupati Nath temple. Mohan Baidhya was one of the representative of your party to meet UML leaders regarding the return of the propeerties and a deal was strck, evrybody agreed, just sayd in the west " WE will not return the seized land". So, what will happen to a country where there is no rule of law ? Do you have anybody serious and responsible in your party ?

Main contributor to the path of Sikkimization or Bhutanization, needs to be identified first. There should be any threat to this independent nation because reapying its due taken by important actors during more than eight years long staying in Delhi for safe shelter. No genuine political parties has been found stopping the process of distributing citizenship to non-Nepali which is one of the contributing factors for the path of Sikkimizing.
