Madhesi leader threatens ‘Nepal split’

TGW

The President of the Tarai Madhesh Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Mr. Mahanta Thakur has threatened that if the demand for One Madhesh One Province is not met with, Nepal will see a vertical split.

“There will be no Nepal if there will be no ‘One Madhesh One province’”, threatened Mr. Thakur speaking at an interaction program in the capital on Saturday December 20, 2008.

“One Madhesh in the need of the country, we are left with no option than to get ourselves killed or become victorious”, added Mr. Thakur.

“We will not surrender to the whims of the big political parties, Madhesis are being specifically targeted and our identity is in a sheer crisis”.

“We are being labeled as the agents of foreign power centers and we are also some time referred as secessionists…where will such irresponsible allegations lead the country to, is any body’s guess”.

“Let them make such irresponsible remarks, we will not settle for less than our primary demand for One Madhesh One Province”.

Mr. Mahanta Thakur a former senior Nepali Congress leader prior to the constituent assembly election quit the mother party to form the TMLP.

If Mahanta Thakur was in Congress party, he ahd opportunity to be a preseident. That is so he became angry. If we would like to develop our Nepal, it doesn't need onn Pradesh it nees only decentrilization of power to implement strictly. When he was in congress party he had no time to say such kind of thing. Now he is talking unnecessary thing. He is one of the opportunistics person.

A view expressed by gorkhali-nepali is absolutely right. No need to add anything more than that. He is absolutely right that whoever speaks the words of Mahanta Thakur should be sent to India. If he wants to fight Nepalese on behalf of India, let him become an Indian brave martyr. mallasagar@yahoo.com Belgium.

It is Maoist who under foreigners' instructions are trying to divide Nepal. They are the agents in real term. They are trying to handover our water resources to please Indians who took care of Maoists while they were in Noida, Delhi, India. Nepali Congress and UML are also the foreign agents. Surya Bahadur Thapa is not an exception. However, Mr. Mahanta Thakur, there is no need of 'one madhesh one pradesh'. Please don't threaten to split Nepal and create a new nation. Madhesh, Pahad or Himal- anyone desiring to split or making any kind of stupid rhetorics that could help break our unity find himself or herself dead. His or her family members will not find for him or her a place to be cremated. Mr. Mahanta Thakur, please don't make a big voice. You were a looser and you will be looser. When you cannot win your constituency election, who will listen to your nonsense talk. If you are not talking on behalf of India on whose behalf you are talking such stupid things? Are you trying to encourage ethnic violence in Nepal? Make sure, you will be the first person to find yourself dead if that happens. chyantebhunte@yahoo.com thapathali, kathmandu.

Only traitors like Mahanta Thakur can only think about splitting the country. He should very well remember that not even the Great British Empire could do this. And this yesterday's non entity threatens Nepal's sovereinty ; Nepalese will do everything and everything to protect its motherland and not be a puppet in the hands of these indians who should be sent back to india. Anyone speaking to disintegrate the country must be punished by the people themselves..how easy these politicians talk about civil war, country disintegration , one madhesh.
