Nepal: Ex-King writing a biography

TGW

Nepal’s last monarch Gyanendra Shah who has been living a solitary life in Nagarjun Palace in the Kathmandu suburb-some eight kilometers North-West since two months or so, as per the latest report, is busy writing an autobiography in five parts.

The autobiography will be divided into five parts namely the Childhood, Experience of Working as the Chairman of the King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation, Role as a King, Fall of Monarchy and the concluding remarks.

Currently ex-King Gyanendra is spending hours every day to type his biography in his personal computer in the English language, say reports.

Ex-King Gyanendra reads books on Nepalese history mainly from the Rana period and keenly watches local television programs, writes the Tarun Vernacular Weekly dated August 18, 2008.

He walks in his own premises in the morning and evening and asks the security personnel regarding their family lives.

“Do you have any problems…where is your family…do your children go to school” are some of the questions, the ex-King Gyanendra frequently asks them.

as a nepali citizen we always want to live our life with pride in this world, wherever we go. i believe to make a nepal king alone can't do anything without the support of his people. i hate to say but truth in my eyes has been that people didn't gave their hands and supported him for new revolution. thus, why people except a change frm him. people should change their thoughts n move towards the practical and wise desicion. othawise we will always be at the back n more back..searching the person who can actually be the right person to make our country..:(

A genral Nepali citizen (without having and political affiliation) still respect our King and Queen and look forward to have them back so that every citizen of Nepal feels proud of their Head of state. Our King is going on a very bad times so non of the friends are supporting him. He is a very good human being and every citizen knows he can lead our country in a respectable position in the world Map. I hope and prey to almighty god to give us our King Queen and Monachy institution. Jay Desh Jay Naresh

Dear all; Don't say, that the king never made any big fault, but to many faults have pushed his way. Communists may have good intentions, but I think you can have salvation of life from human beings only. Monarchy is a bit more history, carefull life,etc.Nowadays. Every man,who admits his faults gets a new chance in life.I think the King of Nepal also deserves such a chance, but to let reintroduce monarchy again will be a very difficult thing, but not impossible. Monarchy can be very good, but also very bad.I hope, that Nepal later gets a very good monarchy. Yours sincerelly: D.P. Tick gRMK

It's great that now our beloved King is biography. These politicians for few dollars has sold our nationality, either it is maoists or any other party ... they are all corrupt. Monarchy should be restored.

Communication is the key here. As a king, his majesty could not communicate well... Now he can... God bless him and hope monarchy is re-instarted back in Nepal. Lets not blame India or other country for Nepal's misery. We are all to be blamed, our politicians and maoists are to be blamed.

The Biblography of king will bring great wave in nepali Politics. He is the true nationalist. Nepali peoples may know that what he used to thingk about peace and prosperiety of Nepal. He is not like these party leaders who always fight for power and post. It is clear with all how easily he stepped down to facilitate the developing process. The day is not very far when he would head this country again.
