Chairman Rajendra Mahato of Sadvawana Party commenting on the ongoing capital centric protest led by the seven party Madhesi alliance claims that the protesting parties will return to Madhesh from Kathmandu only after ensuring that Madhesis get their much deserving rights.

“Our objective behind launching protest right here in Kathmandu is not for the sake of doing it. We have come here to get our rights”, he said.

“This protest is decisive one and we will return after its success”, he said addressing a program in Kathmandu.

He said that the parties in agitation are still in favor of talks provided the government creates favorable atmosphere for talks with Madhesi parties. “The government must declare the Madhesi protesters who died in the Madhesh during the protest as martyred and ensure them adequate compensation”, he said.
