Economic blockade exposed Indian regime: Nepal leaders

The United Marxist Leninist Secretary Pradip Gyanwali claims that the thinking of agitating Madhesi parties that they will eventually force the government to bow down before their demands through the India imposed economic blockade on the country is totally wrong.

“It is totally wrong of the agitating madhesi parties to think that they will make the government surrender by seeking India’s support to impose the blockade is totally wrong.”

Claimed Gyanwali that his party is totally supporting of all Madhesi demands except for totally separating provinces in Tarai with the Hilly region of the country. As far as their demand for proportionate/inclusive system and electoral provinces based on population density is concerned we have no objection”.

“We are open for re-delineation of federal provinces but have we ever asked the people where they want to stay,” he asked.

Sharing his views at the same program Unified Maoists Party leader Lila Mani Pokharel claimed that blockade has brought to open India’s vengeful act as Nepalis leaders refused to accept their diktats while drafting their constitution.

How could the Indian leaders ask us to set electoral provinces based on population density as they themselves have not implemented it in their own country, asked Pokharel and continued, “In Laksadeep thirty five thousand voters choose one representative, in Sikkim six hundred thousand voters have one representative and in Maharashtra 3.5 million voters chose on representatives? This is what is happening in India. How could the Indian leaders ask us to set constituencies based on population density?”

Has India exposed herself? Keep on guessing.
