The Unified Maoists Party too has made up its mind to stand in favor of election.
This the party leadership proposed at a meeting held between the ruling parties, October 31, 2012.
Grand departure from its old stance.
The spokesperson of the ruling ‘Federal Democratic Republican Alliance’, Prem Bahadur Singh is quoted as saying, “The proposal to stand in favor of election was forwarded by the Unified Maoists Party at the meeting held today.”
The leaders have also decided to exhibit ‘utmost flexibility’ at a meeting scheduled to be held between major parties on Thursday, also claims Prem Bahadur.
Reports have it that the major parties including Madhesi alliance are holding ‘final talks’ Thursday, November 1, 2012.
