Nepal: UML leader hopes Prez will sack PM after fierce movement

Telegraph Nepal

If the namesake President of failed Republic of Nepal, Dr. Ram Baran is to abide by the advice of Constituent Assembly election defeated Madhav Kumar Nepal then he should immediately sack Prime Minister Baburam of his powers and appoint a new prime minister.

But what about the blizzard that would follow from the Maoists quarters against the President?

Madhav Nepal is the senior leader of the United Marxist Leninist Party who prefers to make cheap political remarks, analysts comment.

“If the Maoists think that they will also cling to state power for all time to come much similar to King Gyanendra did then they are committing a blunder. Their fate will be akin to Gyanendra sooner than later”, claimed Madhav Nepal who is taken as a flimsy political personality inside his sown UML party.

Analysts presume that the now sidelined King did not send any congratulatory message to Mr. Nepal on the eve of Bijaya Dashami. Thus the unwanted retaliatory remarks.

He talked to press at his private residence in Koteshwar, Kathmandu, October 25, 2012.

Veteran Journalist Rishi Dhamala and his mobile team of reporters had arrived at Nepal Residence.

If there is anyone in Nepal who has the capability in forging consensus between political parties then it is only Rishi Dhamala, it is talked among the political circuit. What is the harm in trying this option, ask critics?

According to Mr. Nepal, “The President cannot do anything without the support of political parties. The parties will initiate a fierce movement against the incumbent Maoists regime. The president should not hesitate in sacking the prime minister on the very premise of the movement.”

The movement perhaps will be limited from Ratnapark to Ratnapark.

Mercifully, Mr. Nepal did not suggest President Yadav to actively participate in the movement.

With the end of the Dashain festival, BRB government will have a hard time, he predicted and continued, political and constitutional crisis that is approaching will put the government in great difficulty.

“We will also not allow the government to present the budget,” he continued.

Interestingly, during the press interaction Madhav Nepal labeled Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal as a ‘Chilpe Kira’ (a man of double talk).
