The Nepal Congress leader P.L. Singh demanded revival of the 1990 constitution and referendum thereafter, October 20, 2012.
“The best possible way out from the present political mess is to revive the democratic constitution of 1990 and hold a referendum,” he suggested and asked, “Until when the political parties can rule the country in the name of consensus?”
“Their idea is to prolong the crisis in the name of forging an elusive consensus”.
“Sahamati ko nam ma asahmati”
Listening to PL’s remarks at the same program also was party general secretary Prakash Man Singh.
Said Prakash Man, “The general public has absolutely no belief in the present government. Referendum, election, revival of the constituent assembly or any other alternative demands formation of a national unity government.”
The Nepali Congress Nuwakot district Chief Jagishwar Narsingh K.C., “It is Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s changing stands which is to be blamed entirely for the present crisis.”
