Nepal: Dead CA body to be revived soon claims PM aide Sunil

Telegraph Nepal

At an interaction program organized by Reporters’ Club led by veteran journalist Rishi Dhamala in Kathmandu, October 12, 2012, Prime Minister Baburam’s political advisor Devendra Poudel ‘Sunil’ said that the constituent assembly will be revived as soon as possible.

The Europeans too desire this.

“The Constituent Assembly will be revived prior to Tihar Festival,” he declared and added, “I am confident parties will reach consensus for reviving the CA.”

“The government continues to bring in ordinances; President continues to reject them one by one. On the other hand, the political parties fail to forge consensus. The cycle of failures will not take the country anywhere.”

“The ongoing talks between parties will intensify further in the next few days. They will arrive at an understanding by mid of October, which is what the president also wants,” he opined.
