Nepal: State loot to continue, Dahal says accord distant this Ashoj

Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists while addressing a program in Kathmandu, October 9, 2012, told point blank that there was no possibility for political parties arriving at consensus within month of Ashoj, 2069.

State loot to continue till Chhath.

“We were certain to resolve disputes before Asoj end. Now it is almost impossible. We have no alternative than to meet the target before Tihar festival.”

Dahal is leaving for Belgium shortly.

“There are issues that need to be resolved. We need some more time to discuss those issues. I have urged Sushil Ji (Nepali Congress President) to look for some other alternatives to arrive at consensus.”

Befooling the population in series and the people remain askance.

“Let it be clear that we do not fear election. Our idea is to resolve some constitutional issues and revive the Constituent Assembly”, said Dahal and added, “Let us finalize the issues that we have no differences, revive the constituent assembly, declare the constitution, hold parliamentary election and resolve other contentious issues.”
