Reports have it that Nepal Communist Party-Maoist led by Chairman Mohan Baidya ‘Kiran’ in an informal manner is giving shape to a military structure within the party.
Outwardly though the unit is being named “Janasewak Bureau” but efforts are underway to equip the party with the military outfit, reports Kantipur Daily quoting high placed party sources.
The in charge of the military unit, according to the report, is the party secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ who is considered very person very close to China. He is a frequent traveler to China.
To recall, lately Biplav had sneaked into China August 28 and returned home September 7, 2012. However, under whose invitation he frequently travels to China is a mystery yet. Uday Chalaune is the deputy commander of the military unit.
Why only Delhi? Beijing is also a booming city and is reportedly a friendly one.
But how long? It is highly likely that India’s security advisor soon will depute some to seduce Mohan Baidya and force him to sign yet another Treaty a la June 2002 Maoists-India Treaty. But in a secret manner. Who knows the man is already here?
