Opposition parties including Nepali Congress and United Marxist Leninist have threatened to install a new government right from the streets. Congratulations!
But will NOIDA veterans recognize such (mis) adventure? After all permission is necessary.
Five opposition parties had held their meeting at the UML headquarters in Balkhu, Kathmandu, September 26, 2012.
“We have come to the conclusion that we need to replace the Prime Minister from the streets. The ruling Unified Maoists party does not want consensus between parties. We are left with no option than to use force”, said Raghu Ji Panta of United Marxist Leninist.
Pant used to be a journalist.e also claimed that the protest programs will be a peaceful one.
Present at the meet were leaders representing Nepali Congress, UML, Nepal Communist Party-Maoist, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Sanghiya Madhesh Loktantrik Party led by Sarat Singh Bhandari.
“Main obstacle to consensus between parties is the government. Another round of meeting on Thursday will plan the protest programs.”
Reports claim protest programs before Dahain festival will not be intense.
Or is the protest for occupying power to enjoy Dashain festival?
