Nepal: Straight no to NC leading next government, declared Dahal

Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists has denied handing over power to the Nepali Congress.

Power conflict begins.

He said this while addressing a program in Pokhara, September 24, 2012, that “Indeed parties had discussed possibility to allow Nepali Congress lead the national unity government but Nepali Congress may not be allowed to lead the government anymore. Any of the parties could lead the government.”

NC has now been declared untouchable-the party which brought the jungle dwellers to the Kathmandu metropolitan city from NOIDA concrete jungles, New Delhi.Tryst with destiny.

“I am confident that sooner than later consensus government will takeover but I am not sure who will lead the next government”, he added.

“Talks between parties have begun with a positive note. We are yet to finalize who will lead the next government.”
