Nepal: Fierce movement to unseat Nepal PM BRB likely

Telegraph Nepal

Thirteen parties remaining outside government including Nepali Congress, United Marxist Leninist and Nepal Communist Party-Maoist have come to the conclusion that intensified protest programs throughout the country was needed to unseat the government.

What an exciting moment that it would be?

The 13 Party meeting was held at Nepali Congress Party headquarters in Sanepa, September 24, 2012.

Said Ram Chandra Poudel after the meeting talking to the media, “The government is itself a major hurdle in approaching a consensus between parties.”

“Protest is necessary if we have to reach consensus. We will unseat this government forcefully from the streets”, he added.

One is reminded of NC movement that began with Ratnapark and ended at Ratnapark.

“We have no other option than to form an anti-government alliance,” said Vice Chairman CP Gajurel of NCP-Maoist.

“We have decided to resort to street option to sack the government”, continued Gajurel.
