Telegraph Nepal
The Unified Maoists Party leader Janardan Sharma ‘Prabhakar’ has labeled Nepal’s former King Gyanendra Shah as a ‘toothless tiger.’
“The former King has become like a toothless tiger,” he said this while addressing a press meet in Rukum of Rolpa District, September 24, 2012.
The press meet was organized by Revolutionary Journalist association.
To recall, a report published by Tarun vernacular Weekly few months back claimed that Prabhakar is the fourth richest man in the Unified Maoists Party. The report claimed that Prabhakar is the owner of at least 800 dozers operating in 63 districts of the country. Unbelievable! However, according to Tarun Vernacular Daily it is true.
People’s war net benefit.
“I suggest none to dream of reviving the dead institution,” he advised and added, “People have come to the streets deploring visits of the former King. Our party has no policy to disrupt his visits. We are firm that a toothless tiger cannot hurt anyone.”
At another plane, Prabhakar also ridiculed any possibility of allowing Nepali Congress to lead the national unity government.
But isn’t that tiger remains a tiger even if he loses teeth?
