Nepal: Ex-King excited with people thronging to see him, thinks positive

Telegraph Nepal

When asked by media men over the chances of revival of monarchy gently replied the former King, “You can see on your own peoples’ participation. That’s all for now.”

Is this a toothless tiger speaking with such a determination?

The former King Gyanendra Shan arrived in Damauli of Tanahu September 24, 2012 while on his five day trip to Gandaki and Dhawalagiri Zones. Shah paid homage at the Shiv Panchayan Temple in Tanahu.

“I am equally worried as you are,” he replied when asked what he has to say on the present situation of the country.

While on his way from Pokhara to Damauli the former King was greeted by his supporters with flowers.

The former King is scheduled to visit Bindabasini Temple in Pokhara.

A new twist in politics is very much in the cards.
