Nepal: RJP-Thapa caps unity possibility with RPP-Nepal

Telegraph Nepal

Chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa of Rastriya Jan Shakti Party in Dhankuta, September 23, 2012, said that any decisions unilaterally taken by ruling parties including Unified Maoists and Madhesi alliance are not acceptable to his party.

“All parties should be taken into confidence,” he said and added, “If the ruling parties think that they can run the nation ignoring the rest then they are mistaken.”

Grand jolt indeed.

“It is only due to the Unified Maoists, the country continues to reel under severe crisis. They are more focused on breaking agreements than forging consensus”, he also claimed.

So why he doesn’t seek the support of NOIDA in taming the ones who signed June 2002 Maoists-India Treaty?

Sober but Nepal eater Bajpayee was Indian PM then.

“It is the right time that the parties unite to resolve their disputes and take part in election.”

At another plane, Thapa made it clear talking to local reporters that under any pretext unity with former King Gyanendra Shah and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal led by Kamal Thapa was impossible.

It is now the turn of Kamal Thapa to respond.
