Nepal: Madhav love erupts for ex-King, says no disruption in visits

Telegraph Nepal

Surprisingly Madhav Kumar Nepal is also not happy with political parties vowing to disrupt Nepal’s former King Gyanendra Shah’s visit to Gandaki and Dhawalagiri zones.

The senior United Marxist Leninist leader had been threatening the former King that he could be chased away from Nagarjun palace until the other day.

Sudden change of mind or Line Ayo…

“All citizens should be treated equally. I see no point in disrupting his visits.” Wonder!

He was speaking at a program organized by Ganesh Man Singh Memorial Foundation in Kathmandu, September 21, 2012.

At another plane said Nepal, “The Maoists do not want to quit power because their sole objective is to capture the state.”

He also made it clear that unless national unity government takes shape there is no possibility of consensus between parties.

Or is it that the former Nepal sovereign has met Mr. Nepal in private prior to his departure to Pokhra?
