Nepal: Enlightened Ms. Koirala says parties ‘tail of foreigners’

Telegraph Nepal

The Nepali Congress leader Ms. Sujata Koirala has alleged that leaders of Nepali political parties are basically ‘tail of foreigners’ (Bideshi ko Pucchar).

Whether or not she also belongs to the same faculty, Sujata obviously did not disclose.

Yet analysts understand that she has a personal relation with Sheila Dixit in New Delhi.

Addressing a press meet in Khadbari of Sankhusabha, Thursday September 21, 2012, she warned political leaders to remain cautious while dealing with the foreigners and urged them not to toe their views on our internal matters.

So what about the instruction loaded sermons that she herself listened to during 2005, 12 point Treaty inking ceremony in New Delhi that catapulted the entire Nepali politics and the net result is what we have today’s rag-bag-bobby-tail Nepal?

“We need to be Nepali first and find ourselves amidst our own,” Sujata told at the press meet organized by Nepal Press Union. Remarkable!

Is it the fervor of Nepali nationalism that has erupted? Or just a seasonal change?

“Our political leaders are deeply engulfed in power politics. They need to know that it will ultimately ruin their own political career”, she added.

Where from Sujata got this enlightenment is a mystery indeed.

A month back while in New Delhi, Sujata had met with Vedanti Dr. Karan Singh. Singh considered as an enlightened personality is the son of late King Hari Singh of Kashmir Kingdom, which was later swallowed up ( under coercion) by the Republic of India, 1947. Yet the would be ruler of Kashmir Dr. Singh is serving the Italy born Indian queen Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. What a fate.We sympathise.

Singh’s sermons might have worked!
