Nepal: Maoists spoiling political setting for accord, claims Madhav Kumar

Telegraph Nepal

A day after returning from a month long trip to the United States of America, Nepal’s self proclaimed top Communist leader Madhav Kumar Nepal attended a program in Hetauda of Makwanpur district, September 14, 2012.

The program was organized by United Marxist Leninist local unit.

During his entire speech Mr. Nepal heavily criticized the Unified Maoists, it’s chairman Pushpa Kamal and Vice Chairman and Prime Minister Baburam.

He has gained the expertise in deriding at others after the election defeat. Defeat advantage.

“The Unified Maoists is spoiling the political environment”, he said and added, “They are doing this to foil the prospect of having consensus between the parties.”

“As long as Maoists continue to remain seated in power, consensus between parties seem impossible. There is no other way than to oust Prime Minister Baburam through another aandolan.”

Addressing at the same program, UML secretary Yub Raj Gyanwali labeled Unified Maoists as an ‘extremist’ and Nepali Congress as a ‘status-quoist’ party.

The UML is the only democratic and revolutionary party, he also claimed.

Self praise is no recommendation.
