Telegraph Nepal
Madhav Kumar Nepal has returned home from almost a month long trip to the United States of America. Mr. Nepal enjoys free trips abroad. He keeps on traveling albeit if it is a free one. Who cares Nepal ailments?
“There is no need for the president to abide by the instructions served by the government”, said the United Marxist Leninist, CA election defeated leader, talking to media persons at the Tribhuwan International Airport, September 13, 2012.
Election defeat means little in Nepal.
“Maoists words and deeds differ significantly”, said the namesake communist leader and added, “The failure of the parties to forge consensus because Maoists want to continue prolonging their term in government to misuse state power.”
He also claimed that with the parties coming to terms over contentious constitutional issues one from the available alternatives of reviving the constituent assembly and holding fresh elections could be chosen.
But when? You keep on traveling?
“In case parties fail to forge consensus, parties in opposition will have no option left than to uproot the government through street protests”, he told media men.
Expecting help from NOIDA once again?
Thankfully, Madhav Nepal during his encounter with the press did not blame the former king Gyanendra Shah for present political mess.
Or a new equation has been set in the meantime?
