Nepal: Lack of team spirit causing repeated failures, laments Dahal

Lack of ‘team spirit’ among Nepali political actors, says Chairman Pushpa Kamal of Unified Maoists, is the origin of repeated failures of political parties to garner political consensus.

Dahal, however, did not mention that “team spirit” in Nepal comes into existence as and when NOIDA veterans enter into Nepali politics.

It was this Nepal Maoists and Brajesh Misra-Shyam Saran team spirit, as revealed by Professor Muni that brought into existence the June 2002 Maoists-India Treaty. This treaty must have still been in force, analysts presume.

Dahal made the remark while greeting the members of victorious Nepali Cricket Team that took part in the ICC Division 4 cricket competition.

Nepal had won the ICC World Cricket League Division 4 by defeating USA by eight wickets in the final played at Kuala Lumpur.

Congratulations to the Nepali team.
