Whereas Pushpa Kamal claims that consensus between parties is likely within a week, President Sushil of Nepali Congress out-rightly negates any possibility of accord between parties in the immediate future.
Sushil claimed that Pushpa Kamal and his ilk were unnecessarily creating hullabaloo over consensus. Their sole agenda is to keep the entire population guessing, added Sushil while addressing a press meet in Baglung, September 10, 2012.
“They have been appeasing every individual within the parties and outside assuring their support to elevate them as the country’s next prime minister”, claimed Sushil and added, “The Maoists must abide by all past agreements verbatim else consensus was a distant affair”.
Sushil also claimed that the Maoists want the country to once again fall into the phase of violent conflict.
“Nepal will turn into another Afghanistan if Maoists succeed”, he concluded.
