Prime Minister Baburam has once again expressed his dissatisfaction over President Ram Baran’s acts for not endorsing the ordinances tabled by the government.
“My hands are tied. I have not been able to do anything. The ordinances forwarded by the government in the absence of the parliament are not being accepted by the president,” he said while addressing a program in Kathmandu, September 9, 2012.
“The ordinances that are pending at the President’s desk are related to addressing daily necessities of the people, such as health, education and distributing poverty identity cards”, he also said.
“Our action mostly depends on the environment we are given. If the president does not accept the ordinances I am also not in a position to do anything”, he also said.
Critics suggest the prime minister to make a telephone call to "under achiever" Prime Minister Mahmohan Singh seeking his help to convince the president. Or Poltu Dada?
To recall, on May 3, 2009, it was the Dada (the present day Indian President Pranav Mukhejee) who had made a telephone call straight to Nepal President to reinstate the sacked Nepal Army Chief, Rukmangad Katwal.
Shyam Saran very freshly admitted that India had intervened in this Nepali affair. What a matter of shame for the shameless Nepali population. .
