Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists Party who arrived in Janakpur, September 1, 2012, has claimed that within a day or two major parties will arrive at consensus to revive the dead constituent assembly.
“Fresh election is also one of the alternatives but parties are nearing a deal to revive the constituent assembly”, he said and added, “Our talks held this morning went positive in that direction.”
“If parties arrive at conclusion, the Constituent Assembly will be revived within the month of Bhadra,” also disclosed Dahal.
He also suggested parties to stop blaming the government and also to stop demanding immediate resignation of the prime minister.
Early hours on Saturday, leaders of three major parties, Nepali Congress, United Marxist Leninist and Unified Maoists had held a meeting at the United Marxist Leninist headquarters in Kathmandu.
