Telegraph Nepal
The Nepali Congress leaders affiliated with Sher Bahadur Deuba have resigned en masse from their respective positions as departmental and zonal heads alleging party president Sushil Koirala for having brought inequitable practices in the party.
Twelve departmental and four zonal heads tendered their resignation at the party headquarters in Sanepa, Kathmandu, August 15, 2012.
NC decay begins thus.
President Sushil Koirala had freshly made appointments in the vacant 42 departmental and 14 zonal head positions without holding consultations with the Deuba panel, it is reported.
“Our resignation is a mark of protest against President Sushil Koirala’s decision which goes against the party charter while appointing chiefs in those bodies, reports quote leaders having allegiance towards Deuba camp as saying.
Is it a clash between the Indo and the US lobby? Or Chairman Dahal has entered into the NC politics?
