Telegraph Nepal
The Nepali Congress leaders inclined towards Sher Bahadur Deuba have threatened to resign en masse from their position(s) as departmental and zonal heads alleging party president Sushil Koirala for having institutionalized inequitable practices in the party.
President Sushil Koirala had freshly made appointments in the vacant departmental, zonal head and a central committee (CC) positions without holding consultations with the Deuba panel.
Koirala family habits die hard.
The Party CC members, zonal and departmental heads from the Deuba faction held a meeting on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Deuba’s posh bungalow in Budhanikantha, Kathmandu and have decided to tender their resignation en-masse today, August 15, 2012.
Delicious luncheon must have been served.
“We will tender our resignation together to the party president”, said NP Saud of Deuba panel after the meeting.
Analysts hope that some Indian leaders will soon land in Kathmandu to patch up Deuba-Sushil differences. It has become a phenomenon. Thus nothing to panic.
The tussle is perhaps the beginning of the beginning. NC free amusement begins.
